Warriors Varsity Volleyball Wins Silver Bracket at Hartford Tournament

The Ozaukee Warriors Volleyball program took a big step forward this weekend while competing in the Hartford Varsity Volleyball tournament.  The girls were 3-2 on the day match wise while finishing the day on a 3 match winning streak.  This is the programs first 3 match winning streak since 2013.  The Warriors began their season playing a tough non-conference schedule against four division 1 schools and seven division 2 schools.  "By playing a tough non-conference schedule early on it really helps you develop at a faster rate and prepares you for your conference season against division 3 schools", said Coach Paul Jungbauer.

Coach Jungbauer added; "We took a big step forward by closing out some close matches towards the end of this tournament.  We had similar opportunities at UW-Oshkosh against similar opponents and were not able to close them out.  It is great to see the girls make adjustments to become more consistant and seeing them apply the training at practices in a match."

STATISTICAL LEADERS (Hartford Tournament)
