The Kamloops Sr. Men's Baseball League Society has made the difficult decision to bar public attendance within the grandstands at Norbrock Stadium during Men's League games.
After an internal review of our COVID-19 risk management plan and in light of recent public exposures in nearby centres only players and officials will be permitted within Norbrock Stadium for the remainder of our baseball season. Risk mitigation is fluid, and we feel that having fans in attendance in any number is too great a risk to our community. Anyone who is not a registered player or necessary on or off field official will be turned away.
This decision is a difficult one to make as we know how much our family, friends and fans love the sights and sounds of this amazing game. We recognize this may not be a popular decision, however it is made with the safety of everyone involved as our first priority.
We would like to encourage our family, friends and fans to watch our livestream broadcasts to see their favorite teams and players compete. Links will be posted soon to allow everyone to tune in. We adore your support and encouragement; at this time we ask that you provide that from the safety of your own homes.
Thank you for your understanding.
